Senior Sneak Peek = Sam

What a month! We have been going nonstop between weddings, portraits, boudoir shoots, headshots and commercial work. I hope to catch up on the blogging soon (=

Anyway, one of our of sessions was someone very special to me. My little sister Sam is graduating this year and I can't believe it! It seems like just a few weeks ago she was tormenting me and trying to get me in trouble. We obviously have had our fair share of "disagreements" but we are all past that and are best friends. Here are a few from her Senior session with us...

BAM! I L.O.V.E. this shot!

We found this old house that was just begging to be in the images. So of course, we obliged. (=

She just looks too freakin cute here (=

LOVE those eyes!

She wanted a couple on the train tracks, so I told her we could, only if she "worked it!"

CAW '09 = Lots of Fun!

Wow... what a CRAZY week! Two lights to the repair shop, one computer down and a whole slew of portrait shoots. (=

This past Saturday we celebrated past clients with our first annual Client Appreciation Weekend. It was so much fun to see some of our favorite clients again. Some we hadn't seen in a year or so while others we had seen last only a month or so ago. We had free mini portrait sessions for the day, discounted pricing and the studio was decked out with munchies which ended up being a big hit, especially with the kids! I think it was a success and I hope everyone who participated had as much fun as we did. We can't wait to do it again next year. (If you want the inside scoop for CAW '10, be sure to sign up for our newsletter!

Here is a few of my favorites from the day...

Tom and Julie are expecting their first child in June! We had so much fun at their wedding and we can't wait to meet their little one. (=

You may remember seeing these lovely ladies on our blog or website. We have captured images for this family since before the youngest here was even born!

This was actually our first time meeting Denise and Dan in person. They are a great couple and we are so excited to be working with them in October at their wedding at Brasstown Valley Resort!

Zachary and Casey were a mess (look at the picture... notice the doughnut powder?!?). No ,no... they were only a mess when we asked them to be! The rest of the session they were so awesome to work with. And how much more adorable can you get?!

Brooke and Nick are getting married in September on Jekyll Island! We met Brooke over a year ago at Mike and Melanie's wedding where she was a bridesmaid. Now she is engaged to her long time friend and they make the cutest couple!

Recognize the little one in front? Well Cooper's whole family came out for the day. Mom coordinated everyone so well and all of the kids seemed so natural in front of the camera.

Zoe's Bat Mitzvah: Sneak Peek

Last Friday and Saturday, we had so much fun with Zoe and her family during the celebration of her Bat Mitzvah. It started on Friday morning at Temple Sinai with the rehearsal. There we met the adorable Zoe for the first time. We were informed that only a day or two before, she had casts on both arms removed from a snowboarding accident! But there she was, ready to go! The family portraits went off without a hitch so we moved right into taking images of the actual rehearsal when the rabbi came in.

Then on Saturday night, we joined the family again at the Ashford Club. After a few more portraits, the party started. Everyone seemed to have a blast and so did we! The adults enjoied a few cocktails while the kids were entertained in the ballroom with some amazing DJ's. The food smelled wonderful and the decor was so perfect for the event. It was hard to pick a few images for the sneak peek as so much went on that evening! Enjoy...

Congrats Zoe!

Venue: Ashford Club
Florist: Botany Bay

Entertainment: Spectrum Entertainment

Photo Giveaways: Button It Up

Cake: Cakes from the Heart

Ice Sculptures: Ice Sculptures Unlimited

Balloon Arch: Balloonacy

Before the rehearsal started...

During the rehearsal the Rabbi kept making Zoe laugh (=

Flowers were everywhere at the party and they were beautiful!

There was the coolest balloon arch I have ever seen showing everyone that the Ashford Club had been transformed into was "Club Z"!

The ice sculpture was at the bar and was a drink luge for the adults. The kids, on the other hand, had a delicious cake to dig into!

The Ashford Club made some very yummy food. I mean if salad looks this good, everything else had to be fabulous right?! Also they had a "mocktail" bar for Zoe and her friends complete with frozen drinks and umbrellas!

The DJ's got the party started with some games. Zoe seemed to have alot of fun during this one!

The DJ's also had entertainers/dancers that got everyone on their feet, showed some crazy dance moves and passed out goodies (like glowsticks) all night long. They must have been exhausted by the end of the night!

Zoe's brother was on hand to work the dance floor.

The Hora!

An adorable father-daughter dance...

During the party, everyone grabbed a snowcone and sat down to watch a slideshow featuring Zoe of course!
