Kate + Rodger: Sneak Peek

Well I am running a tad behind on blog posts... (=

We had the fabulous opportunity to work with Kate and Rodger a couple of weekends ago at one of our favorite venues, Brasstown Valley Resort. The weather was a little iffy all morning but Kate was determined to have the ceremony outside. Sure enough, the weather held off until much later in the evening during the reception (which was covered from he elements). In fact, you could not have asked for a more lovely day as far as the temperature was concerned.

The reception was so much fun and there were so many different people there that we pretty much had dancing from all over the globe. It was entertaining trying to keeping up with their high energy guests but we had so much fun and got some amazing shots! In fact, there are so many I wanted to post here. However, given limited time and space, I will just post a few even though I still think it will set a record for a wedding sneak peek here!

High School Senior: Anna

Yesterday, despite the wind, we had a fun "combo" session with Anna who will be graduating in a couple of weeks! We started out in the studio and got a few drape shots. Then we piled in the cars and headed out to do some really pretty natural shots for her. She mentioned she had never done a photo shoot before but she was SO easy to work with. Her great smile and fun personality made it a very easy session! See a few sneak peeks below along with a video...

Little Wonder: Cooper 9 month

Once again we had the joy of having little Cooper in our studio last week! He was so easy going as usual and even busted out some poses for us from time to time. I guess he is getting used to being here and knows how to work the camera! Here are a few of my faves along with a video with a few more image at the bottom...

Katie + Dennis: Sneak Peak

A couple weekends ago we were privileged to share in the wonderful festivities of a wedding with a couple of amazing people. I had the pleasure of working with Katie a few weeks before with a boudoir session. She was an absolute joy to be around radiating energy and happiness. I finally got to meet her other half Dennis on the wedding day and it was apparent why Katie was so happy! Her and Dennis make the most perfect couple and they are so loved be all of their family and friends. Check out a sneak peak below...

For their first dance, they started out all nice a sweet and slow... then busted out the moves!


Then the DJ made them play a hilarious game. The first to get to the cardboard was the one who wore the pants in the house. Guess who one? A little good spirited cheating never hurt anyone right Katie??!! In case you couldn't tell, she held Dennis down so he couldn't roll his out.

High School Senior: Haleigh

Yesterday we had the pleasure of working with Haleigh, a high school senior graduating this year. She was so easy to work with and despite her claims of not knowing what to do in front of the camera, she looked beautiful! We found a few new places to shoot near Marietta Square and Haleigh was up for just about anything. Since she was looking for something fun and casual, we all mozzied (sp?) around for a while and had a nice laid back session. The weather was beautiful although it could have been a tad cooler (= Here are a few of my favorites... also scroll down for the video!
