Watch Me Grow: Gabriel 18 Months

Last Thursday, we had lots of fun with Gabriel and his mommy. Gabriel is 18 months old and this is the second time we have photographed him so it only took a little warming up! This session is a extension of our Little Wonders program called our Watch Me Grow program. In these sessions we really get to see the true personalities of the kids emerge.

We started this session in the studio but Gabriel had other plans of exploring. So we headed out to the park where he could run and explore some more. Once he got out there, he was off! Every once in awhile he would pause and strike a pose towards the camera and it was just adorable. We ended the shoot back at the studio on a different background and brought out our little dog Mickey. That got the smiles going!

Check out some of my favorites...

I love this shot! Sometimes the best ones are of children not smiling. So don't worry if you come in for a session and your little one is just not into smiles that day!

Exploring at the park...

There he goes!

All smiles (= What a cutie!

Wow!

I just found this on a blog I frequent and had to share. If I witnessed this, it would have been a little scary to say the least!

Monica + William Engagement: Sneak Peek

This past Saturday we had the pleasure of working with Monica and William. They are getting married next month and wanted some images to document their engagement. Talk about a fun couple! They were very relaxed in front of the camera and were willing to try many different poses. When we couldn't get Monica to give us that beautiful smile, William stepped up to the plate and brought out Monica's most genuine yet.

Monica and William- Thank you guys for roughing the wind and cold to get some great outdoor shots! You guys are great (=

Just a little stroll down the the park...

So sweet! Check out the leaves in the background too!

I love this shot on the tracks!

Some in-studio love... (and I'm LOVIN those shoes!!!)

Little Wonder: Cooper 3 Month

The day before I went out of town we met Cooper and his mommy for the first time. We had a great time capturing this 3 month old relaxing, giggling and sleeping. His mom brought in couple of really cute blankets and a sweater she hopes to use throughout his first year in the Little Wonders Program. I love it when parents bring in things that help make the session so much more personal. I really look forward to seeing this little man grow up over the next year!

Mom didn't want to be photographed but I just LOVE how Copper is so peaceful on her shoulder.

Another adorable shot of this handsome fella!

His mommy got the giggles going!

One of my favorites from the session. We had to be really quiet to get this one (=

Little Wonder: Tessa 1 Year

Sorry it has been a bit since there have been any blog posts. I just got back into the states on Tuesday and with my dad being the only one to take care of business, the blog fell by the wayside as more important things arose. But we are back in blogging business and I have several things to post over the next few days!

We met with Tessa and her mommy on Halloween day for Tessa's 1 year session. I can't believe she is already a year old! Tessa is so full of personality and knows how to work the camera. After all, we have known her her whole life so she is pretty comfortable in front of it. Here are a few images from that session. Enjoy!

She loved her teddy bear...

I love this shot... she seems captivated by something.

Who could say no to this pouty face?!

Ending the session by playing on the big comfy couch!

Brandon + Brian: Sneak Peek

Before I go any further, I must admit I got a little carried away with the sneak peek image quantity!

This Saturday we got the chance to be a part of Brandon and Brian's big day. They are both friends of mine so it was a special treat. I have never done a friend's wedding before so I was very excited and nervous. The nerves turned out to be silly as I will honestly say that it was the easiest wedding we have ever done! Everything was perfectly coordinated by Brandon and the day went so smooth.

The wedding and reception was at The Grande in Kennesaw. It was beautiful and the staff was on their game. We had so much fun and were able to get some great shots due to the wonderful flow of the whole day. Enjoy!

Brandon and Brian - Thank you again. We had a blast! Brandon you looked stunning and all of the little details you worked so hard on came together like magic. Brian, all I can say is... nice shoes. No, honestly I loved the shoes, but I loved how I could catch you stealing a look at Brandy across the room. You could see all the love shared between you both so clearly. Hope you guys are having a blast on your honeymoon!

Brandon got her hair and makeup done at Elite Retreat Salon. Simply beautiful.

At the salon, she pulled this out. It was her vows written the night before at the rehearsal dinner on a coaster! So cute!

Before we began formal portraits, the couple choose to see each other so that the day would go smoother. I love it when couples decide to do this.
It has so many advantages... just ask us!
Isn't is great how the bridesmaids are peaking out the window?!

Quick shots of the lovely bride and groom...

One of the groom's sisters Hannah passing out programs. His other sister Donna was a bridesmaid.

Perfect weather for their outdoor ceremony...

Love the shoes!

All of the wonderful details...

Right as Brian took his new wife's hand for their first dance, he pulled a single red rose out of his jacket for her. I melted!

The best man and maid of honor gave great toasts that had the couple belly-laughing at points!

The cupcakes were so much fun! It started out nice, but I had it on good authority it would end like this... (=

The flower toss from the balcony. I love the colorful trees matching her bouquet in this shot!
