High School Senior: Heather

And now for the final post of the day... (=

Heather called us a few days ago in desperate need of some senior portraits. She will be graduating in a couple of weeks and needed something to go out in her announcements. Since we didn't have time to scout a different location, we decided to meet at Marietta Square and it worked out perfectly once again! Heather's personality is just a bubbly as it comes across in her images. She also knew how to pose and have several adorable outfits to choose from which gives a ton of variety to her images. After telling us she just wanted "happy!"images, we knew the session was going to be fun. Below is a mini video from her shoot and some of my favorites...scroll down for the video.

Heather, thanks for tromping all over Marietta Square and finding restaurants that would allow you to change in their restrooms. We had a great time and congratulations on your upcoming GRADUATION!

Definitely a "happy" mom pose (=

Joan & Kevin: Engagement

Round 2 of blog posts for the day... (=

Joan and Kevin are getting married later this year and wanted to get some beautiful images for their engagement. We are looking forward to their wedding even more since we have had a chance to work with them! We started out in the studio and the vibe was very serious for a few minutes. They are both in the military so we were serious about getting down to business. However, it only took a few minutes for Joan to loosen up and it showed through her fabulously amazing smile. Kevin on the other hand wasn't too into have his picture taken at first. Once we moved outside I think he felt a little more comfortable and by the end of the shoot he was dropping down on one knee again in front of Joan!

Thank you guys for being up for the ideas we threw out there. We had a blast!

-M

Love, love, love, love it!

First we got Joan to go piggy-back on Kevin... then she tried to get him to do the same. (= Did I not mention her amazing smile?!?

Wei-Wei & Brad: Engagement

The past couple of weeks have been so busy! I have at least 2 engagement sessions, 1 high school senior and 1 wedding to post so check back often as I am going to try and get them all on here within a day or so.

I am going to start with a really fun engagement session we did with Wei-Wei and Brad at Atlantic Station. It was our first time working at Atlantic Station and it had a special meaning to the adorable couple. The company they work for did the work on the Millennium Gate. We tried to stay around the Gate and the nearby pond as much as possible. Wei-Wei and Brad were both a little camera shy at first but opened up rather quickly after the first time we asked them to kiss for a shot. She couldn't quit giggling every time she looked up at Brad for that first kiss... it was so sweet. (= Thank you guys for getting permission to work at Atlantic Station and for being such great sports!

Here are a few of my faves from the session...

This one gives me the feeling they are sitting somewhere off the Mediterranean Coast...

Little Wonder: Ella - 9 month

We had SO much fun with little Miss Ella and her parents last Monday. She has just blossomed into such an adorable, smiley little girl! She is also beginning to crawl around and, like most babies, as soon as she hits the floor she is moving. Luckily for us, mom and dad were on hand to set her down on one end of the floor and corral her on the other so we could get some shots of her doing her thing. (=

Here are a few sneak of my favorites...

She looks so girly-girl here with that toe pointed out!

I love this one! This dress is one her mommy wore when she was a baby!

She was fascinated by the flower. Gives me ideas for our next session!

And finally... I LOVE THIS ONE! The hat her mommy brought just makes me smile from ear to ear! So cute you just wanna eat her up!

Class of 2009: Jordin

This weekend we were thrilled to work with high-school senior Jordin! We started off in Marietta Square for some amazing images. Jordin was so easy to work with... she has a great smile and really knew how to pose. When we did give her any direction, she followed it perfectly. Not to mention, she was a trooper in some pretty serious heels walking all around the Square.

A couple of days later, we met her at the studio for the second half of her shoot. This time, she brought a friend along... her kitty Fig! Neddless to say, he wasn't to keen on being somewhere other than his house and very vocally let us know. (= He was a good sport though and posed for a few images without clawing Jordin!

Instead of posting a series of "sneak peek" images, we compiled a video of a few of our favorites... enjoy!

Head Shots - Joseph

A couple of weekends ago we got to hang out with a set of twins again. If you remember, we did a session with Joel awhile back. Well this time, Joel got to sit back and relax while his twin brother Joseph was in front of the camera. These guys were alot of fun to work with and had so many ideas. Once again, Marietta Square amazed us by the variety of backgrounds available. We were a little concerned before the shoot because since the guys looked so much alike, we wanted to make sure their images were not identical too! After a few minutes of searching, we found some more great places to shoot that we actually got to use this past weekend with a high-school senior girl. Be on the look out for that awesome post coming later this week... think video!

For now, here a few of my faves from Joseph's session. Pretty cool effect!
