Catherine + Greg: Sneak Peek

This past Saturday we had the joy of working with Catherine + Greg during their wedding. What started out as a possibly hectic morning, ended up being so relaxed and fun!

To start off, Catherine + Greg were getting married in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Atlanta. We have done one wedding there before and knew it was a beautiful place. However, on top of mass that didn't end until 10am (we started formals at 9am), there was a parade. We all thought the parade would be near the church... turns out, it completely surrounded it. It wasn't a huge deal though because it appeared that everyone made it to the church in time for the ceremony.

Since we couldn't get into the church until after mass, Catherine + Greg opted to do their First Look as well as their formals outside. We all marched across the street to a beautiful little green space with fountains and birch trees. Unfortunately, we ended up having to move due to security reasons at that building and finished the formals down the road. After that, the rest of the images in the church went by flawlessly.

After a beautiful ceremony, we all packed up and headed a few blocks down the road to the Ellis Hotel for the reception. Catherine + Greg had a cute cocktail reception complete with adorable tiny hors d'oeuvres. Wanting to keep it simple, they also decided not to cut a cake (although they had the sweetest little cupcakes), toss a garter or bouquet or do a first dance. It was so great to have a change of pace and just capture the relaxed atmosphere of friends and family enjoying each others company. Enjoy the sneak peek...

Catherine + Greg: You two are a sweet as two people can be! We had a great time with you and your families. It was evident how much love is surrounding you! We loved the laid back pace of the day as well as the simple touches that made the day uniquely yours. Thank you for letting us be a part of it!

Absolutely beautiful!

First Look!

How cute are they? Who says you can't have a little fun with formals?!

This was just after asking the ring bearer to give her a kiss. Adorable...

All smiles (=

Aren't they cute?!

Our time there ended with an impromptu "dance" with Catherine and her daddy.
